Accounts are always the responsibility of the patient until paid in full.

Patients that are on medical aid: Invoices are submitted directly to the medical aid via electronic submission.

 Where savings or benefits are depleted, or the electronic submission reflects that the service will not be covered, consultations, PMB forms, letters motivations etc. are payable by the patient, upfront.

Whilst patients that have available savings, or approved a PMB, for psychotherapy, are not requested to pay up-front, the patients are still responsible for their accounts until such time as their outstanding balance is paid in full. It remains their personal responsibility to follow up with the medical aid to ensure their charges with Dr Miller are settled timeously.

In the event, we have submitted expecting payment from the scheme, and later it is found that invoices are not paid, short paid, or at any time reversed, the patient or person responsible for the account is then liable to pay their outstanding balance to the practice when requested within 30 days, per the terms and conditions of the practice.

Patients paying cash: Must pay upfront and if on a medical aid can then submit their own accounts to their respective scheme.
